The Centre for Research and Technology Hellas/Information Technologies Institute (CERTH/ITI; PB2) is the only research centre in North GR and one of the largest in the country, promoting the triplet research/development/innovation by conducting high quality scientific research, developing innovative products/services and building strong links with industry/public authorities. It is one of the leading GR institutions in the field of ICT with long experience in EU/National/ Cross-Border projects. Its staff has high/long experience in the fields of computer vision, multidimensional signal processing, web/server development. CERTH was the main technology provider of the predecessor project OUTLAND and has also other recent work in fire detection/management/simulation/visualization projects.
